5 Ways to Reset Your Mind & Body This Back-to-School Season ✏️ 🍎

The shift from summer to fall is more than just a change in the calendar—it’s a chance to refresh your routines, reclaim time for yourself, and boost your energy. Whether your kids are in preschool or college, these simple self-care tips will help you feel more grounded, energized, and ready to take on the season.

☕️ Tip 1: Create a Morning Ritual Just for You
Even 10 minutes before the rest of the house wakes up can set the tone for your day.
Ideas: gentle stretching, a gratitude list, or a quiet coffee outside (this is my favorite while I do social media).
🧘♀️ Tip 2: Revisit Your Movement Routine
With summer schedules over, reestablish consistent workouts. You don’t have to aim fo a full 60 minutes if you don’t have it—fitting in 30 minutes 3 to 5 times a week is a great way to build consistency. Frequency is better than duration!
Keep it realistic—schedule your workout routine like you would any important meeting. First thing in the morning is best so other things can’t get in your way—like school pick up, sick kids, or just losing your energy (guilty of that myself).

🍎 Tip 3: Fuel with Seasonal Foods
Embrace fall produce— (sounds crazy but there are only 11 Fridays until Halloween!), so think apples, squash, leafy greens—for nutrient-rich meals that support your energy.
🍃 Tip 4: Build in Mini Breaks
Schedule quick 5-minute “recess” breaks in your day to reset your mind and body.
Walk, breathe deeply, or stretch away from screens. I set my iPhone timer every 20 minutes to remind me to get up and walk around when I’m at my desk
🤍 Tip 5: Connect with a Supportive Community
